you're not the boss of me now.

You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now
You're not the boss of me now, and you're not so big

Content forthcoming in the morning, probably. Just felt like posting that.

"You're Not The Boss of Me" is one of my protest songs...and I love it. :)

Take it how you will.

sleepy, awww

the fire trucks woke me up...

So here I am awake.

The fire trucks woke me up. Turns out, I guess that somebody's boyfriend was threatening suicide or something, but since I have a fourth floor window facing College, and it's open to get some air in my monestary cell sized room, and so when loud diesel engines pull up and stay parked under my window, it's enough to wake me up. Especially since I was confused enough to wonder why the fire alarm hadn't gone off.

There's a lot on my mind. Finals is the most important. The situation I will not talk about is in there too. Trying to find a job and an apartment is also killing me. And my throat hurts. It would figure that I would get sick right during finals week.

And it is now too late to take my 'kill panic attacks dead by knocking katster flat' pills to g'sleep, because I have to be up in less than seven hours. *sigh*

It's ironic how much GBS's song "How Did We Get From Saying 'I Love You' to 'I'll See You Around Someday'" is featuring in my life. Thankfully, not in my relationship with zibblsnrt, but elsewhere. I need a new song in my soundtrack. For some reason I've been obsessing about "James K. Polk" by They Might Be Giants, but it doesn't really fit.

So I guess I'm going to try and get back to sleep.

G'night LJ world.
