So Cal is now 5-5, after a heartbreaking loss to UCla, in which the kicker missed four field goals, one of which lead directly to a UCla touchdown on a block, after tying the game with eighteen seconds left to go. Luckily, the next week, Pac-10 bottom feeder Arizona was scheduled to come to Berkeley, although for some reason Arizona's always played us close, and we got caught looking ahead to Stanfurd last year and provided AZ with its only Pac-10 win all year. But this year, it wasn't even close.
And then last night, we creamed ASU down in the desert, in a game that I'm still trying to figure out what happened in.
We have three more games left in the season, all against teams in the bottom half of the conference, although going into Autzen is always dangerous (we play @Oregon this year), Washington is hoping to snap our winning streak against them at one (after they had a twenty-plus year winning streak against us), and Big Game is always anybody's game, even if Stanfurd is thanking Arizona for keeping Stanfurd out of last place in the Pac-10.
And if we can go 2-1 over the next three games, we're 7-6 and bowl eligible. So hopefully, go bears!
